Course Description:

This course subjects are very clear, rich in contents and methods, and atmosphere is very lively. Throughout a two-day experiential training, participants will develop their management skills by action, thinking, debriefing and application back to workplace. The training is combined with instructed explanation by our facilitator, case study and discussions, role-playing and other teaching methods to inspire participants to explore in depth. Participants will develop essential qualities of good manager; effective communication, building trust, inspiring and motivating others and driving for the results.

This course is suitable for the following groups:

  • Newly promoted managers who need to learn management skills
  • Managers who need further learning in order to improve self management skills
  • People who are ineterested in developing themselves in order to be managers

Course Outcome:

  • Enhance the attitude and ways of thinking, to become a manager psycologically first
  • Improve management skills such as the effective communication, building trust, and inspiring and motivating others
  • Understand management experiences in the each industry of the participants and establish connections with other participants

Program Outline

Day 1 Morning
Introduction: IWNC introduction, share program objectives and participants get to know each other.
Discussion: What kind of attitudes and skills a qualified manager havs?

  • Manager’s basic attitude: Sense of team, teamwork, and serving for others

Afternoon
Introduction:Manager’s basic competencies: Effective communication, building trust, creating a high performance team, motivating subordinates effectively

Afternoon
Practical application: case study analysis and role-playing, discussions and exercises in certain circumstances, how to emphasize practical applications of various management capacities, and accepting others’ feedback.
Making an action plan: planning actions how we can improve our management skills
Closing: Two day program outcome and participants’ behavioral change before and after the program
