THE TEAM WE THINK WE ARE (pre-program benchmark survey)The IWNC-developed 5C Team Effectiveness assessment tool is run two weeks before the workshop. Conducted anonymously online, the 5C asks participants to rate their current performance across 25 team competencies, indicating also the areas in which they - as a team - think they most need to improve. THE TEAM WE WANT TO BEUnderstanding the 5C results and comparing them with key elements of a High Performance Team, the team reaches a consensus on what their elements of success are. HOW WE ARE GOING TO GET THERE (100-day action plan)The team develops a 100-day plan with goals which lie fully within the span of control of team members, noting also any other longer-term goals which may instead be within the team’s - or the leader’s - span of influence. DID WE GET THERE? WHERE DO WE GO NEXT?After 100 days, the team once again completes the 5C, so that progress towards the benchmark goals can be assessed.
